By accessing or using Link Polish ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Link Polish is a free, open-source text formatting tool that allows users to style their LinkedIn posts using Unicode characters. The Service is available as:

  • A Chrome browser extension
  • A web application (accessible via any modern browser)

All formatting is performed client-side in your browser. No data is transmitted to external servers.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Service maliciously
  • Not use the Service to spam, harass, or violate LinkedIn's Terms of Service
  • Take full responsibility for the content you create and publish using the Service

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Rights

Link Polish is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software, subject to the license terms.

4.2 Your Content

You retain full ownership of any text you create using the Service. We claim no rights over your content.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of the Service

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Link Polish and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

7. Third-Party Platforms

Link Polish is designed for use with LinkedIn but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. LinkedIn is a registered trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. Your use of LinkedIn is subject to LinkedIn's own Terms of Service.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
